Les, his wife, Katie, and his sons, Roc, Piper, and Brady, are excited about being a part of the Greensboro Christian Church. Before coming to the Greensboro Christian Church in September of 2012, Les had been in youth ministry for nine years (2003-2012) at the Broad Creek Christian Church in New Bern, North Carolina and the Stone Memorial Christian Church in Collinsville, Va. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Mid-Atlantic Christian University (formerly Roanoke Bible College) in 2005.
Les loves pro sports (baseball/Atlanta Braves, basketball/Boston Celtics, football/Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots). He also likes Colin Cowherd and Bill Simmons. He loves Sheetz (it's not just a gas station) and spending time with his family (even his wife's fam).
Lesa is originally from Greensboro. She has been our office administrator since 2004 and a member of this body since 1999. She is married to Michael Lyon and they have two children, Justin Morgan and Caleb. She enjoys cooking and reading as her hobbies. She knows the answer to most questions. She likes to ride motorcycles with her husband.
Wanda is honored to be a part of the Greensboro Christian Church’s team. She has been actively involved with the children's programs at GCC since 2010 and is excited to continue in this ministry.
Wanda was raised on a small goat farm in Upstate New York. She is not afraid of hard work and loves to be busy with purpose, from gardening, to cake decorating, to date nights with Barry, and to various other church activities that she is involved with.
She loves to watch and re-watch every season of Army Wives, Hallmark movies, and spend as much time as she can with her kids, Kris and Alexis. Zela, her mutt, is not just her dog but a protector of her family and is so excited when her hoomom comes home.
